Pretty. Didn't know Auroras were that bright or that may be part of the
sun setting.

WOW!
I thourght Aurora Borealis were more Orange & Blue than Red & Yellow & pale
Green!
& Definetley less bright!

whoa, that's funny, when i was living in Michigan U.S.A., one of the most
interesting thing happened is the Moon rose while a full blown Aurora was
going, it was so bright you can see your own shadow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The brightness of the Aurora Borealis is entirely dependent on the power of
sun flares. We are just emerging from a period of minimal sunspot activity,
so expect to be amazed by some spectacular light shows in the next few
years.
