this is looks a Kelvin-Helmholtz formation , but it not quite there, because the winds above this cloud is too strong to produce this natural phenomenon
the best example of this type of clouds is to look at Jupiter is jumbo sized K.H.!
i have looked at the photographs from NASA about Jupiter it is a very very very complex weather systems, forget Global Warming!, it's it's a hyper-active Global Warming planet on Jupiter, NOT on Earth.
is there a computer simulation of the natural phenomenon?, i am there is.
